| Customer Reviews: Works pefectly July 26, 2010 Edward T. Geha (Saint Clair Shores, MI USA) Did exactly what we needed it to do; no more, no less. So I have no reason not to give it 5 stars
Nifty Radio Accessory March 20, 2010 C. J. Schiller 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased the Sirius connect SCH1 Home Tuner to allow my Sirius Ready Sony Receiver to broadcast Sirius satellite stations. This devise was easy to install and hides in the back of the stereo equipment. It displays song information on the receiver's display and satellite stations can be easily added to the presets on the receiver. I attached to this tuner my pre-existing satellite cable and outdoor antenna that was previously connected to a Boom box to receive excellent reception and sound quality. I would highly recommend this inexpensive Sirius product.
Never worked February 23, 2010 Mary J. Williams (Bossier City, LA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered two separate replacement units and neither worked upon arrival. My first/original unit lasted for about 2-3 weeks after the warranty. I don't think these are very well made and are not built to withstand any length of time.
Solved Problem of Receiving Sirius on my Sony AV System February 12, 2010 Ronald C. Zurcher (St. Joseph, MI) I purchased a new Sony Receiver. The reason I purchased the Receiver is because it came with a plug in for Sirius Radio. I had a Starmate Sirius Receiver, however it would not work with the Sony system. I purchased this SCH1 Home Tuner to receive the signal without using the Starmate. After setting it up and a few minor problems, have to use the RCA Cables that come with the unit, it worked fine.
The reason I purchased it from Amazon is because of the price. I inquired Sirius about purchasing this same unit. The price from Sirius was about 2 times what I paid to Amazon.
