With the molded handle, water-resistant cover, and an attractive ergonomic design, the F5X007 is versatile enough to go from the boat to the kitchen with ease. An Xpress or Roady XT connects firmly into the Audio Systems docking station. Load the system with eight C-cell batteries and, with the help of the integrated portable antenna, you'll be ready to tune your favorite XM programs anywhere you roam. Of course, you can use the FX5007 indoors, too. You can use the external antenna in place of the integrated antenna. This allows you to position the external antenna in the optimal spot for perfect reception of the XM satellite signal. Nice Addition to Pioneer Inno June 14, 2010

This boombox makes the Pioneer Inno (and other units) so much more versatile and fun.It does come with an AC power supply(DC converter). It seems to eat up batteries (8 C cells). Use rechargeable batteries or a DC to AC inverter box (good for computers and cell phones also). The sound has more bass than I would like (has bass & treble controls from your XM unit),but a welcome addition to any party.The F5X007 has sleek (a little weird) design. ~ K

Bought for a rural house in NH, but we could not find an antenna configuration that gave a continuous signal-- we got continual "hiccups" in the music. We thought the cause might be location, and took it to a Boston area house, with no greater success.
Pros: OK sound quality when there was a signal
Cons: None of the included antennas were able to give acceptable signal reception

The Belkin XM Boombox is a rugged high quality portable sound system. Hate to see it go out of production. I knocked it around in the truck from job to job , 4 yrs before it tanked, so was very happy to locate another unit. GREAT Sound--superior to the Audiovox. The original 12V power cord is the only weak link, but that is easy to replace.

The radio itself is perfect, however I have gone through two remote controls and several batteries and a couple of hours with customer service with Belkin & Amazon and nobody has a replacement unit (all out of stock)and was informed this radio may not be manufactured anymore. Too much of a headache to deal with anymore...

I am very happy with this boombox. It was more than I expected. It arrived in a timely manner and looks and works great. I also got a remote with it which I wasn't expecting It was a pleasant surprise. I love it and use it all the time.
