 XM Reception throughout my house with Dephi Signal Repeater June 9, 2010

I have been scammed a few times with purchases I made on the internet but the Delphi XM Signal Repeater Model SA 10116 I purchased is one of the best investments I ever made considering the price I paid on Amazon.com. I have the transmitter located in my recreation room in the basement and I receive excellent reception with the repeater in every room of my house, including the garage. I have even tried it in the upstairs bedroom which is at the opposite end of the house fartherest from the transmitter and still get excellent reception.

The Delphi XM repeater system is great. I use it in my office in Staten Island, NY and have had a very good experience with it. My office only has one set of south facing windows and they're nowhere near my desk, so therefore the antenna extension was not an option. So I looked into this Delphi system and it works great! It's also nice because we only need one antenna in the window and a co-worker and I can share the same signal. The distance claims are pretty accurate. The window I'm using is about 50 feet away and there is a room with lots of computers in it along the way and I generally get a clear signal. I will say that when people walk by or stand between me and the repeater, it does drop out sometimes. I also noticed some drop outs when a co-worker left his umbrella open to dry near the repeater. But 99% of the time, it works as described and allows me to get all the goodness of XM where I normally wouldn't be able to. This product is ideal for anyone in an office situation like mine where windows are scarce, or even at home where you have only one south facing window, but want to be able to use your XM receiver anywhere. Also keep in mind that it will work with multiple receivers with the purchase of the additional antennas, which can be found at a very affordable price right here on Amazon. It's a great product and I highly recommend it.
XM Signal Repeater Solves the Problem April 6, 2010

I purchased this product because I was getting intermittent reception with the satellite antenna in its original position. We live in an apartment and had the radio in our kitchen with the antenna hanging on the inside of the sliders that open onto our roughly south-facing patio. The problem was that there is a deck above that overhangs our patio; so, the antenna was not getting a clear "look" at the satellites. While the reception was fine sometimes we often experienced loss of signal. I did not want to try running cable through the sliders, so my solution was to purchase the repeater. I mounted the antenna in a south-facing bedroom window (on the inside, behind the blinds) and put the repeater base station in the same room. I then located the remote repeater antenna (connected to the radio) in the kitchen. Voila! It works like a charm. I would highly recommend this product as long as there is a suitable location to locate the antenna where it can get a clear view of the satellites.

I just ordered this and got it set up...it's amazing!! I couldn't get reception anywhere on our main level so I put this upstairs back in the corner of a bedroom and wahlah!! I have perfect reception anywhere in my house. It couldn't have been easier to set up...just plug it in! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is having trouble with their satellite reception. It's a winner and well worth the price!!

This repeater truly makes your satelite system portable in your home or office. Simply unplug your satelite antenna from your unit and plug it into the repeater and aim it towards the satelite signal. Attach the repeaters antenna to your unit and you are free to move your system around without being close to a window. Wonderful product!
