5 out of 5 stars Awesome car stereo   March 2, 2010
Doug Dinger (PA, USA)
This is the 4rth car stereo I have bought in the past year. I found flaws with all the car streos I have owned except this one.

The first one I had was older, and didn't get a lot of stations. Second one I had was a dual something, and it was ok, but the dimming light didn't work so at night it was kind of hard to see with this bright light in the dash which was the car stereo. The 3rd car stereo I bought was a Jensen, and that one was ok, but you couldn't save any radio stations cause it didn't have numbers. Just keep this stuff in mind when looking for a car stereo.

This car stereo is perfect. It has everything, even came with a remote control. It picks up more radio stations then any of the other 3 different car stereos I've had. I replaced the antenna in my first car, and found out that didn't make a difference, cause I thought that is why I couldn't get many stations.

So far this is by far the best car stereo I've ever owned. I can never wait to get in my car due to the car stereo, getting away from work, ect. Mainly due to listening to music with this awesome car stereo.

5 out of 5 stars Sony CDX GT330 Receiver   December 22, 2009

I purchased this stereo to replace the stock radio in my 2004 Chevy Silverado.
The Sony is a breeze to hook up if you have the right Metra plug to use instead of hard wiring it into the truck.
Being 59, I am not into all the extras that this unit has to offer, just the cd player, and the radio is all I need. Having said that, this is a great unit! I've installed dozens of stereos in past cars and trucks over the years, and this is the easiest installation to date.
The sound is great, and there are many preloaded equalizer sets on this unit.
All in all, I was glad that I researched other radio/cd players, and purchased the Sony 330.

4 out of 5 stars Sony CDX GT330   December 17, 2009

This is a really great receiver for the money. Easy to use with large lit buttons to navigate in the dark. I swapped the stock Blaupunkdt in my Roadster for this and didn't have to use an adapter plate.

I needed a replacement stereo for my pick-up and mostly wanted it for the FM radio. I liked this Sony because it also had a front mounted auxiliary jack I could plug in my iPod. It only took a few hours to install and I didn't have to take apart the dashboard. MP3s on a burned CD worked OK, but skipped on a few songs. This could have been a bad CD blank. Very clear sound and simple controls. Over all an excellent value.
