I purchased a TOMTOM XL 325s which was sold as new. I spent a week trying to get the piece of junk to work, using TOMTOM internet support services and telephone support to find out this was refurbished. TOMTOM finally agreed to take it back and replace it. DO NOT waste your time or your money with this!!!!!TomTom XL 325S 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Gray)

Ironically, I like it a lot. Everything about the unit works great even the suction cup. Plus it is $78 only-you can't get much more for this price. I returned the unit after 2 weeks when it starts losing signal a few times. I don't want the same problem with my old GSP -lossing signal while driving.

I bought this GPS for my wife so she'd have an easier time getting to new places without getting lost. After she read the manual she saw that she could set a security password, so she hooked it up to her Mac only to have the TomTom program freeze on her, multiple times. And then she tried updating the map only to find that again the TomTom program froze. So she thought she'd deal with it But when she turned her TomTom on all the info was gone. "No Maps Available" She was amazed to get in touch with someone at customer service only to have them tell her people with Macs can't use the password function. And the attempts at restoring the TomTom's maps also failed. We've since returned it but we NEVER even got to use it. Her first and only experience with a TomTom and it was a bust

This is my 2nd gps & I don't plan to buy another one for a long time. The visuals are easy to interpret, there are 100s of voices and other extras you can download. I'm loving the Yoda voice right now. The maps are pretty accurate and there's a decent support system should you ever need to call them.
