This quality 0.5m cable connects your iPod, iPhone 3G, mp3 player or phone to your car via the aux in socket (present on many modern cars). This allows you to listen to your music from the iPod through your car's stereo system with excellent sound quality. The cables have a robust design with dual moulded connecters - this means they last longer than other cheaper cables and so do not need replacing. The cables also have 24k gold plated connectors and a low loss wire core to ensure great sound quality that lasts. They are ROHS compliant meaning they fully comply with the latest European standards. The cables are compatible with cars which have a 3.5 mm aux input into stereo. These look like headphone sockets and may be located in the stereo unit, glove box or centre console. Most new cars now have these inputs, as well as many older Fords, BMW's, Toyotas, Mercedes and Seat models. If you are not sure about compatibility just send us a message through Amazon. The cables can also be used to connect PC's with headphone sockets to speaker systems or iPods to music centers / digital radios etc. If you are concerned about quality, look at this items feedback rating. This is not my first visit, nor will it be my last, to this company for these cables. I have recommended them to friends and have placed a couple of orders for family now too. The cables work with mp3s (or all the ones we've tried them with any way) or ipods by plugging them into the earphones socket and the aux socket in the car. The sound quality is brilliant - i dont think it has been lost at all unlike others i tried a few years back. The company are great at corresponding and I received the cables the next working day. This cable is fantastic, I use a Cowon S9 for its unparalleled sound quality and this cable does not disappoint. There is absolutely no loss in quality at all, at least I am unable to notice any. This length is ideal for a car, 1.2m is too long and I don't want cables trailing all over my dash. 50cm is the perfect length. From first impressions it seems durable and as far as cables go it looks good. Okay I am bigging up ,what is ultimately, a cable, but it does its job perfectly. If you need a cable for connect any mp3 player or audio device - e.g. laptop, to any output device, this is the one to get.
