 Bass non-existent! September 3, 2010

I had a pair of these Koss earphones before and they were excellent but unfortunately after a very long service they failed. I replaced them with what I thought was the same item but apparently not. The new ones include a volume control on the lead which I think is totally unecessary but the main problem is that they are tinny beyond belief. There is no bass response whatsoever and they are completely unusable. The price paid was low and because of that I can't be bothered returning them but I will be purchasing a different make now.

owned a pair of these before and was looking for replacement due to damage. tried many different types of plug but came back to these. If you also have difficulty keeping ear buds in and don't want to wear earphones , these are the ones for you! Good sound quality and superb external noise reduction, just like wearing foam ear plugs. Koss have added in line volume control since my previous pair and cost me a couple of quid less too.

After comparing these to every other headphone i have used, these are muffled with poor sound quality.
However the noise cancellation is very good and so is the price.
The sound quality is very weak though, you get what you pay for !

After reading a lot of favourable reviews on these earphones I was prepared to be impressed, I wasn't. The sound is very muddy and poorly defined, there is very little treble to speak of it's all bass which isn't particularly taught or detailed. The physical size of the headphones I also found annoying, they aren't snug, OK everybody has different ears but I couldn't get them to fit comfortably, and the design is such that you have a big white bit of headphone sticking out of your ear, don't be deceived by the pictures they're pretty big earplugs.

the sounds fine but had a problem with the cut out button had to get the soldering iron on it should have sent it back but its fine now
