I've been using this stereo for over a month now and I'm really happy with it. First off, the audio quality is great - I don't have the best speakers, but it surpasses the Clarion that I took out of my Peugeot.
I loaded a USB stick with a collection of MP3s and it's very quick to find the music and start playing, again with great quality of sound. As stated elsewhere, there are only 10 characters on the display and it doesn't auto-scroll by default, which sometimes is a pity, but really is perhaps for the best.
The AUX works just as one would expect. I recently had 10 hours in the car, so loaded up a bunch of stuff on my MP3 player, hooked it up and that was it. Note that it's necessary to max the volume on the MP3 player, which is normal.
This weekend I created a couple of CDs with MP3 tracks, for those times when I forget the USB stick. Again, it plays them perfectly.
The unit looks nice and is readable during the day and at night without being too bright. Unlike the other reviewer, I don't turn the unit off, so don't have to fiddle about looking for the power button.
Notes: for installing in my Peugeot I needed an ISO to DIN aerial converter, which are cheap to get from Amazon. I also needed to swap the yellow and red wires for installation. The instructions show the wires that you need to swap. Basically if the radio doesn't remember your settings when you turn the ignition off and back on, then it's probably down to this.
It doesn't work with the steering wheel controls that I have, although there appears to be an expensive adaptor to make it do so. I've decided I can live without them.
The buttons can be a bit fiddly though for skipping tracks, albums or changing radio station, this just depends on how big your fingers are.
Overall, very happy with the unit and it's a great price.

Classy looking unit, the illumination and lcd display match my car really well. I was a little worried about the quality of the unit, considering the relatively low price, but it works really well and seems well put together. I guess Pioneer are able to sell the unit at this price because it's manufactured in Thailand, but it does look like those Thai chaps have done a good job :#
I am VERY impressed with the sound quality, the clarity is excellent and there's plenty of ooomph #!?) Made me realise how crap the old stereo was!
My only niggles are:
Unless I have wired it up incorrectly (quite possible) the power button doesn't seem to be illuminated when the ignition is on and the stereo is off. This makes switching it on in the dark a bit fiddly.
The LCD only displays 10 characters, which makes navigating your usb stick a bit tricky. There is a button which will scroll the text, but it would be better if it scrolled automatically. There may be a way to set the unit to do this, I'm not sure.
In my opinion these are very minor things considering the price and I wouldn't hesitate recommending the stereo.
